Introduction
Ace is a platform for dating (similar to Tinder, Grindr, etc.) and interaction focused on the gamer audience, allowing people to meet for romantic interests or just to play together.
Target Audience: Gamers from various platforms (PC, console), of different ages, looking for both relationships and new friends.
The proposal consisted of the complete design of the user interface and experience, establishment of style guides and design system, and complete layout and prototyping using Figma.
The challenge
The Ace is a recent project, so the challenge was to create everything from scratch, from the application's functionalities to its appearance.
Creating a design system was also a task of the project, as well as all the components and interactions.
The solution
To continue with the app's design, the project was divided, in addition to the configuration and creation of the design system, into 6 flows:

Matchmaking
Messages
Gamification
Subscription
Profile
1. Onboarding
Account creation, social login, and authentication
2. Matchmaking
Development of the two matchmaking flows: "love" and "play", through a switch at the top of the interface.
Photo carousel display, story-style, along with information that the user provides in their profile.
Action buttons to initiate a conversation through the app and the messaging flow.
This stage also developed the global navigation of the app, notifications, and settings.
3. Messages
Contact flow through text messages with users who matched.
Search mechanism and filters.
4. Gamification
Level progress system, associated with completing the profile within the app and also with the actual achievements of games on linked account profiles (steam, playstation, etc.).
5. Signature
Selection of paid plans for access to benefits.
6. Profile
User profile, with two display options: about and gallery
"About" flow presenting various information about the user, such as biography, favorite games, platforms used, achievements, etc.
"Gallery" flow displaying posts with photos taken within the games, other achievements, etc.
Options to add and make contact, view photos, and invite to play together.
